I started diving during a backpacking trip along Australia's east coast and made my first dives on the Great Barrier Reef. In the following years, being a 'cocktail diver' was not enough for me, so, ten years after my Open Water Diver course, I took a year off to professionalize my diving. Ever since it has been my goal to spend as much time under water as I possibly can.
In my regular job I teach English and Philosophy at secondary school, which provides me some on-land enjoyment as well as the freedom to follow my aquatic passion. So if you need me to help out in your base or as a fun and reliable dive buddy during school breaks, get in touch with me.
"Whenever I find myself growing grim about the mouth; [...] and especially whenever my hypos get such an upper hand of me, that it requires a strong moral principle to prevent me from deliberately stepping into the street, and methodically knocking people’s hats off—then, I account it high time to get to sea as soon as I can." (Moby Dick, Chapter 1)
